The market was established seven years ago on the grounds of the historic Imperial Sugar complex, and it is the longest running outdoor market in the Sugar Land area. We are pleased to provide a venue for small, local businesses and a meeting ground for people who want to shop fresh, local products in a fun and inviting atmosphere.

Important information regarding our market
While the market is open all year, our busiest time is spring and summer. The market gives priority to farmers, ranchers, and prepared foods. Local artisans and community promotions are highlighted at the market, as space allows. With a few exceptions, if a business concept is already established at the market, there will be a "hold" in that vendor category. We do, however, encourage everyone to fill out an application, as we are always looking for unique additions to the market!
Submitted applications are kept on file for one year. Applications are reviewed by a committee of stakeholders, as needed. Reponse times to submitted applications can vary, but applications generally take 7-10 days for review. We encourage potential food vendors to closely review state and local laws related to their business ventures before requesting participation in the market. Imperial Farmers Market is proud to showcase new businesses, however, our staff cannot provide consulting services for business ideas.
For application status inquiries or specific questions regarding the application process, please visit us at the market. Staff members are available, on location, to answer general questions every Saturday 9am-1pm at Imperial Farmers Market.
10x10 space is available for $25 per market, paid by cash, check, or credit card on market day.
